Moroccan chromium exports are set to decline by 1.7% year on year on average to 230,500 kg by 2026. This is a 19.5% drop since 2017. Morocco came in at number 20 in the ranking in 2021, with Denmark taking the top spot at 255,510 kg. Poland, France and the UK followed at numbers 2, 3 and 4. Meanwhile, imports of chromium into Morocco grew 4,040% in 2018 to 87 kg, up from 2.1 kg in 2017. This is a 15.8% decline since 1999, with Zimbabwe taking the lead at 87 kg, followed by Germany, the Netherlands and Japan at numbers 2, 3 and 4.
