Botswana saw a dramatic drop in chromium exports in 2018, plummeting 94% compared to the previous year. A mere 5,000 kilograms of the metal was exported, down from 83,180 kilograms in 2017. Norway overtook Botswana in the rankings, exporting 5,000 kilograms, while Poland, France and the United Kingdom ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
