Norway's exports of chromium plummeted 66.9% in 2021 compared to the previous year, totalling just 2,340 kilograms. This is a 45.7% decrease since 1998. Malaysia overtook Norway to become the 38th-ranked supplier. Poland, France and the United Kingdom came in at second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, imports of chromium in Norway are expected to drop 23.9% on average in the next five years, reaching 12,470 kilograms by 2026. This is a 12.6% decrease on 1998 figures. Indonesia was the 41st-ranked supplier in 2021, with Germany, the Netherlands and Japan coming in at second, third and fourth place respectively.
