Spanish chromium imports are expected to drop 14.6% to 225,840 kilograms in 2026, from their 2021 high of 546,900 kilograms. This represents a 22.7% decrease since 1994. Austria was the top importer in 2021, followed by Germany, the Netherlands and Japan. Meanwhile, Spanish chromium exports are forecast to grow 0.5% to 803,000 kilograms in 2026, up from 779,790 kilograms in 2021. This is a 4.9% decrease since 1994. Finland was the top exporter in 2021, followed by Poland, France and the United Kingdom.
