Luxembourg's import of chromium decreased by 59.3% in 2021, reaching 595.3 kilograms - a drop of 40% since 2004. Honduras overtook Luxembourg as the 67th largest importer of chromium. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan respectively came in second, third and fourth place. Export of chromium from Luxembourg is set to reach 26,730 kilograms by 2026, a 3.4% average year-on-year decrease since 2004. Croatia has overtaken Luxembourg as the 31st largest exporter of chromium. Poland, France and the United Kingdom respectively came in second, third and fourth place.
