Croatia's imports of chromium totalled 22,730 kilograms in 2021, a decrease of 14.3% compared to the previous year. Since 1997, demand has grown by an average of 5.3% every year. Croatia came in 47th in the 2021 rankings, behind Greece. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan were in the top four. By 2026, Croatia's exports of chromium are predicted to drop to 27,070 kilograms - 8.1% lower than in 2021 when it stood at 43,930 kilograms. Since 2001, supply has declined by an average of 2.5% a year. Croatia was in 30th place in 2021, behind the Philippines. Poland, France and the United Kingdom were in the top four.
