Bulgaria's chromium exports are set to decline 7.5% annually until 2026, when they are expected to reach 33,000 kilograms. This would be a 17.1% drop since 2001. In 2021, Bulgaria ranked 28th in chromium exports, with India taking the lead at 51,720 kilograms. Poland, France and the United Kingdom followed in that order. In 2018, Bulgaria's chromium imports skyrocketed 3,110% from 25 kilograms in 2017 to 803 kilograms. This is a 44.6% decrease since 2001. Bulgaria placed 66th in 2018, with Bosnia and Herzegovina coming in first at 803 kilograms. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan followed in that order.
