Polish exports of chromium are expected to reach 11.6 million kilograms in 2026, a 3.1% yearly increase from 9.7 million kilograms in 2021. Since 2001, Poland's supply has grown 7% annually. The country was the world's second-largest exporter in 2021, behind Russia's 9.7 million kilograms. Poland, France and the United Kingdom held the second, third and fourth places, respectively. Polish imports of chromium, meanwhile, are expected to drop to 419,210 kilograms in 2026, a 4.6% annual decrease from 551,550 kilograms in 2021. Since 1999, Poland's demand has declined 12.8% each year. The country was the world's fourteenth-largest importer in 2021, behind Spain's 551,550 kilograms. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan came in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
