Romania's chromium imports dropped 6.9% in 2021, reaching 87,380 kilograms - 14% lower than in 1995. Switzerland was the top importer, followed by Germany, the Netherlands and Japan. Exports of chromium from Romania decreased 36% to 32 kilograms in 2018, compared to the previous year. This was a 100% increase since 2000, and Romania was the 51st largest exporter. Peru was the top exporter, followed by Poland, France and the United Kingdom.
