Slovene Chromium Import is projected to reach 102,060 kilograms by 2026, growing at an average rate of 0.2% each year. Demand for chromium has increased 3% annually since 1999. In 2021, Slovenia was the 34th largest importer, behind Finland's 100,740 kilograms. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan came in at 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Since 1999, Slovenia's chromium supply has decreased by nearly 30%, with the country now ranked 46th in 2018. Brazil was the leading importer with 187.32 kilograms, followed by Poland, France and the United Kingdom.
