Iran's import of chromium is expected to grow 3.3% annually in the next five years, reaching 165,000 kilograms by 2026. The country imported 136,000 kilograms in 2021, placing it 28th in the global ranking. Saudi Arabia was the top importer at the same time, and Germany, the Netherlands and Japan followed at 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, respectively. Since 2003, Iranian demand for chromium has decreased by 0.9% annually.
