Malaysia’s chromium imports have decreased by 23.1% in 2021, compared with 2020, reaching 67,180 kilograms. This marks a 12.8% year-on-year decrease since 1994. Malaysia ranked 40th in the world, with Romania taking the lead at 67,180 kilograms. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan were, respectively, numbers 2, 3 and 4. Malaysia’s chromium exports declined by 28.8% in 2021, compared to the previous year, totalling 10,580 kilograms. Over the last 22 years, the country’s supply has dropped by 42.7%. Malaysia ranked 35th in the world, with Ireland topping the list with 10,580 kilograms. Poland, France and the United Kingdom were, respectively, numbers 2, 3 and 4.
