Filipina demand for chromium imports is set to decrease by 5.3% year on year average rate over the next five years, reaching 117,620 kg by 2026. Since 2001, the country's demand for chromium imports has decreased by 42.3% year on year. In 2021, Filipina chromium imports were ranked 27th, with 161,110 kg, lagging behind Mexico, who topped the list with the same amount. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan respectively followed with the second, third and fourth largest imports. In 2018, the country was ranked 29th, with Austria ahead in the rankings with 49,170 kg. Poland, France and the United Kingdom respectively filled the remaining top four spots in the ranking.
