Egypt's cigar imports and exports fell in 2018, according to recent figures. Imports dropped by 7.8%, to around 1,430 kilograms, while exports decreased by 3.9%, to 547 kilograms. Since 2000, imports have fallen by 14.1%, while exports have plummeted by 64.8%. Romania overtook Egypt in terms of exports in 2018, coming in at number 73 with 546.88 kilograms. Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
