The import of cigars in Brazil is projected to reach 41,000 kilograms by 2026, a decrease of 3.6% each year on average since 2021. This follows an annual increase of 1.9% since 1995. In 2018, exports of Brazilian cigars fell to 4,200 kilograms, down 9% from 2017. Since 1994, exports have declined by 12.6% each year on average. Brazil ranked 51st in 2018, behind Bulgaria at 4,200 kilograms and ahead of Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany at numbers two, three and four respectively.
