Mozambique's cigar import is set to drop by 1.7% year on year Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) to 678 kilograms by 2026, down from 750 kilograms in 2021. Since 2005, the country has seen a 17.6% year-on-year increase in demand. Mozambique's cigar export, meanwhile, fell by a staggering 74.1% in 2018, from 2,010 kilograms in 2017, to 519 kilograms. Despite this, the country saw a 13.3% year-on-year growth in supply since 2016. In 2018, Mozambique ranked 74th in the world for cigar export, with Egypt overtaking it at 519 kilograms. Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany followed, in that order.
