The country ranked number 5 in 2018, Mexico overtook at 818.58 Kilograms. Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany respectively came in numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Colombian Cigar exports skyrocketed by 1,470% in 2018, reaching 2,010 kilograms, up from 128 kilograms in 2017. However, since 1996, overall Colombian supply has declined by 22.6% year-on-year. Mexico overtook Colombia as the top exporter in 2018, with Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany coming in second, third and fourth respectively. On the other hand, Colombian Cigar imports fell by 36% in 2018, from 1,280 kilograms in 2017 to 818.58 kilograms. Nevertheless, since 1996, overall Colombian demand has increased by 22.3% year-on-year. Mexico again took the lead in 2018, with Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany coming in second, third and fourth respectively.
