Jamaican Cigar import is forecast to grow at a rate of 2.6% per year over the next five years. In 2021, the import of cigars into Jamaica was 22,060 kilograms, and this is expected to reach 25,810 kilograms by 2026. Jamaican Cigar Export, however, has seen a decrease since 1996. In 2017, the export of cigars was 63.05 kilograms, a sharp drop from the 1,170 kilograms recorded in 2016 – a decrease of 94.6%.
