Ghana's cigar imports plummeted by 83.3% in 2018, down from 269 kilograms the year before. Since 2001, demand for cigars has fallen by almost half each year. Last year, the country imported 41.4 million kilograms, placing it at number one on the ranking. Germany, the Netherlands, and France followed in second, third, and fourth places respectively.
