Nigeria's cigar import skyrocketed 5,210% in 2018, compared to the previous year. From just 4.8 kilograms in 2017, imports reached close to 255 kilograms last year. This marks a significant increase in demand. However, the long-term trend is still downwards. Since 2002, cigar imports have decreased by an average of 71.3% each year. In the past 12 months, supply has gone down by 2.5%.
