Austrian demand for cigars is set to decline by 1.1% year on year, reaching 115,810 kilograms in 2026. This is down from 123,340 kilograms in 2021. Since 1999, demand has grown at an average rate of 0.7% each year. Austrian exports of cigars totalled 1.27 kilograms in 2018, down from 38 kilograms in 2017 - a decrease of 96.7%. Since 1999, supply has dropped by 32.4% year on year. In 2018, Austria was the 94th largest exporter, behind Macedonia, Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany.
