Russian cigar import is expected to reach 582,000 kilograms by 2026, growing at a rate of 0.8% each year. This is a slight increase from the 555,910 kilograms imported in 2021. Since 2001, Russia has seen a 1.1% yearly increase in demand. Exports of Russian cigars are also expected to grow in the coming years, with an estimated 16,260 kilograms being shipped in 2026 – an increase of 3.7% year on year. Since 2001, exports have grown by an impressive 26.1%. In 2021, Russia ranked 40th in exports, with Tunisia leading the way at 13,010 kilograms. Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany were the next three largest exporters.
