Cigar imports to India are set to rise slightly over the next five years, with an average annual growth rate of 0.3%. In 2021, the figure is estimated to reach 8,080 kilograms, up from 7,950 kilograms in 2021. This marks an increase of 4.2% since 1993. Meanwhile, Indian cigar exports have decreased 2.8% from 9,840 kilograms in 2017 to 9,570 kilograms in 2018. Year on year, the figure has dropped by 7.9% since 1993. India is currently ranked 42nd in this category, behind Armenia, Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany.
