Sri Lanka's cigar import is set to reach 42,000 kilograms by 2026, a 3.2% year-on-year increase from its 2021 level of 34,400 kilograms. Since 1999, demand has risen 47.3% annually. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka's cigar export is expected to reach 194,000 kilograms by 2026, a 0.8% year-on-year growth from its 2021 figure of 185,000 kilograms. Since 2004, supply has dropped 4.6% each year. Sri Lanka was ranked number 20 in 2021, with Lithuania taking the lead at 185,000 kilograms. Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany were ranked 2nd 3rd and 4th, respectively.
