Indonesia is set to export 4 million kilograms of cigars by 2026, up 2.4% yearly on average. This growth began in 1994, and has increased 5.6% every year since then. In 2021, Indonesia ranked 6th in worldwide cigar exports, while Belgium took the lead with 3.5 million kilograms. Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany were second, third, and fourth, respectively. Indonesia is also set to import 407,000 kilograms of cigars by 2026, up 3.4% yearly on average. This demand has been on the rise since 1994, with a yearly growth of 9.6%.
