Thai imports of cigars decreased 13.9% in 2021, down to 6,920 kilograms from 8,040 kilograms in 2020. This marks a 15% decrease since 1993. Meanwhile, Thai exports of cigars in 2018 saw a sharp rise of 158.2%, amounting to 1,410 kilograms compared to the 546.57 in 2017. Supply has gone up 2.6% since 1996. Thailand ranked 61st in 2018, while Finland came in first with 1,410 kilograms. Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany followed in second, third and fourth places respectively.
