In 2021, Singapore was ranked 31st in the world, behind South Africa whose exports amounted to 33,000 kilograms. Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany came in second, third and fourth respectively. Imports are also set to rise, with the country reaching 52,000 kilograms by 2026, a 2.7% year on year average rate. Since 1994, imports have grown by 9.3%. In 2021, Singapore's ranking was 27th, behind Myanmar whose imports amounted to 44,000 kilograms. Nicaragua, South Africa and Germany followed in second, third and fourth place.
