Lebanese demand for cigars is set to decline slightly, by 0.1%, over the next five years. This is a slight downturn compared to the 0.9% year-on-year growth seen since 2002. Meanwhile, Lebanese exports of cigars are set to increase, by 1.7%, over the next five years. This is a marked increase compared to the 5.2% year-on-year growth seen since 2003. In 2021, Lebanon ranked 66th in the world for exports, with 878 kilograms. Sweden was the top exporter, followed by Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany.
