Despite this expected downturn, the Finnish meat market has experienced modest growth over the past decade, rising by 0.5% annually since 2013. In the 2023 rankings, Finland held the 19th position. The Czech Republic, with sales also at €2.4 billion, surpassed Finland. Leading the European meat market were France, Spain, and Italy, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively.
