Pig production in Guyana is set to drop 1.7% year-on-year over the next five years, reaching 2,160 heads in 2026. This follows a downward trend dating back to 1966, when production was down 0.9% year-on-year. Pork consumption in Guyana also fell slightly from 2017 to 2018, from 2,000 metric tons to 2,000 metric tons.
