Pig production in Honduras is forecast to reach 114,350 heads by 2026, a decrease of 0.2% a year from 2021's 115,660 heads. This is a slight dip from the 0.1% year-on-year decline since 1966. Meanwhile, consumption of pork in Honduras is expected to grow by an average of 1.6% a year to 52,670 metric tons in 2026 from 48,000 metric tons in 2021. From 2017, demand has risen by 1.4% a year. Honduras ranked 75th in 2021, while Estonia was ahead with 48,000 metric tons. The United States, Russia and Vietnam took the top three spots in the ranking.
