Cameroon's pig production is set to increase by 0.9% in the next five years, according to a new report. The country's production has grown 1.2% year-on-year since 1966. Meanwhile, Cameroon's pork consumption is forecast to fall by 0.6% year-on-year by 2026. Since 2017, the country's demand has dropped by 1% year-on-year. In 2021, Cameroon ranked 81st in the world in pork consumption, with Bosnia and Herzegovina overtaking it at 32 thousand metric tons. The United States, Russia and Vietnam were 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively in the ranking.
