Pig production in Ivory Coast is expected to reach 70,590 heads by 2026, a 0.1% year-on-year average growth since 1966. At the same time, consumption of pork in the country is estimated to decline 5.8% year-on-year to 11,330 metric tons in 2026, after rising at a rate of 7.2% since 2017. In 2021, Ivory Coast was ranked 92nd in pork consumption, with Armenia outranking the country at 16,000 metric tons. The United States, Russia, and Vietnam respectively held the second, third, and fourth positions in that list.
