This is an average growth rate of 0.8% year on year. Since 2017, the country's demand for pork has increased by 0.5% year on year. In 2021, Croatia was the 43rd largest pork consumer in the world, overtaken by Bulgaria, which consumed 220,000 metric tons. The United States, Russia and Vietnam ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
