Meanwhile, Thai pork consumption is expected to reach 1 million metric tons by 2026, growing at an average rate of 0.3% each year. Since 2017, demand for pork in the country has risen by 0.4% each year. In 2021, Thailand ranked 15th in terms of pork consumption, while South Korea was the highest consumer at 987 thousand metric tons. The United States, Russia and Vietnam respectively were the second, third and fourth largest consumers.
