Beef consumption in Togo is expected to reach 11 thousand metric tons by 2026, down 0.5% from 2021. Since 2017, demand has remained stable. At the same time, Togolese beef production is predicted to drop to 4,180 metric tons by 2026, a 3.8% decline from 2021. Since 1966, supply has decreased by 5.8% each year. In 2021, Togo was ranked 143rd in beef production, behind Puerto Rico (5,230 metric tons). Brazil, China and Argentina ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
