The country's beef consumption has remained fairly steady since 2017. Production of beef in Jamaica is forecast to fall by 0.8% annually to 6,540 metric tons in 2026 from 6,860 metric tons in 2021. This is a 2.3% decrease from the supply in 1966. Jamaica was ranked 137th in 2021, with Taiwan overtaking it with 6,860 metric tons. Brazil, China, and Argentina were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively.
