Demand for beef in Tunisia is set to remain flat over the next five years, reaching 61,900 metric tons in 2026. This is a minor decrease from the 62,000 metric tons consumed in 2021. Since 2017, Tunisian demand has increased by 0.5% on an annual basis. Meanwhile, production of beef in Tunisia is expected to grow by 0.2% on an annual basis, reaching 56,650 metric tons in 2026. This is a slight uptick from the 55,980 metric tons produced in 2021. Compared to 1966, Tunisian supply has decreased by 1.2% each year. The country ranked 90th globally in 2021, with Cambodia ahead at 55,980 metric tons. Brazil, China, and Argentina were the second, third, and fourth largest producers, respectively.
