Beef production is on the rise. According to figures, it is expected to reach 23,690 metric tons in 2026 - a growth of 1.8% year on year since 2021. This is in comparison to the 4.2% year on year growth seen since 1966 - with Eritrea at the top of the ranking with 21,280 metric tons, followed by Brazil, China and Argentina in second, third and fourth place respectively.
