In 2021, it ranked 154th in the world, with Guyana coming in at 153rd with 2,160 metric tons. Brazil, China and Argentina respectively ranked second, third and fourth. Samoan beef consumption was at 2,000 metric tons in 2018, up from 1,000 metric tons the year before.
