Luxembourgers are set to consume around 15,000 metric tons of beef per year for the foreseeable future. Between 2017 and 2021, demand for beef in the country remained steady. Production of beef in Luxembourg is expected to reach 10,810 metric tons in 2026, up 0.7% annually since 2021. The country was the 129th biggest producer of beef in 2021, with Bosnia and Herzegovina overtaking Luxembourg at 10,350 metric tons. Brazil, China, and Argentina were the second, third, and fourth biggest producers, respectively.
