This is a decrease of 1.8% year on year. Since 1966, Maltese beef production has decreased by 2.9% year on year. In 2021, the country was ranked 165th in beef production. Gabon overtook it with 995 metric tons, while Brazil, China and Argentina ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
