In the same period, the nation's beef production is forecast to fall by 5.2% annually on average, to 6,260 metric tons in 2026. This is a decrease of 10.4% since 1997. Estonia was the 133rd largest producer of beef in 2021, overtaken by Lesotho with 8,540 metric tons. Brazil, China and Argentina ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
