Lithuania's beef consumption is projected to grow by 1.3% year on year from 2021 to 2026, reaching 16 thousand metric tons. Since 2017, demand has remained stable. Meanwhile, Lithuanian beef production is set to decrease by 2.1% year on year from 2021 to 2026, reaching 35,040 metric tons. Since 1997, supply has dropped by 1.7% year on year. In 2021, the country was ranked 101 in beef production, behind Malaysia at 39,780 metric tons. Brazil, China and Argentina came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
