Production of beef in Romania is forecast to drop by 3.3% year on year over the next five years and reach 75,870 metric tons by 2026. This follows a decrease of 4.5% in production since 1966. Romania was ranked 72nd for beef production in 2021, with Angola at the top of the list at 92,320 metric tons. Brazil, China, and Argentina were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively.
