Moldavian beef consumption is expected to remain steady over the next five years, at around 7,000 metric tons. The figure has been stable since 2017. At the same time, Moldavian beef production is expected to drop significantly, by an average of 9.8% annually, over the same period. This decrease began in 1997 and the country has since fallen to 139th place in global production rankings. The Democratic Republic of Congo, Brazil, China and Argentina currently hold the top four spots.
