Consumption of beef in Armenia is expected to fall slightly over the next five years. Demand was 53,000 metric tons in 2021 and is forecast to reach 52,850 metric tons by 2026, a decrease of 0.1% per year on average. From 2017 to 2021, consumption dropped by 0.6% per year. Armenian beef production is projected to increase over the next five years. Supply was 72,360 metric tons in 2021 and is projected to reach 79,930 metric tons by 2026, a rise of 1.7% a year on average. Between 1997 and 2021, supply rose by 1.2% a year. Armenia was the 81st-largest producer in 2021, overtaken by Senegal with 72,360 metric tons. Brazil, China and Argentina were the second, third and fourth-largest producers, respectively.
