Serbian beef consumption is projected to reach 9,000 metric tons by 2026, down 17.1% from 2021's 26,000 metric tons. Since 2017, demand has been flat. Serbian beef production is expected to total 57,800 metric tons by 2026, a 1.6% decrease from 2021's 63,400 metric tons. Since 2011, the country has seen a 2.2% year-on-year decline in supply. Serbia was in 86th place in 2021, overtaken by Yemen with 63,400 metric tons. Brazil, China and Argentina were the next three biggest producers.
