New Caledonians beef production is set to reach around three thousand metric tons by 2026, a slight drop of 0.6% annually since 2021. This marks a gradual increase of 0.2% year on year since 1966. The country ranked 151 in 2021, with Fiji ahead at 3,070 metric tons. Brazil, China and Argentina came in at second, third and fourth place respectively. In 2018, New Caledonians beef consumption rose to five thousand metric tons, a slight increase from five thousand metric tons in 2017.
