The global vodka consumption is expected to surge in the coming years, reaching €51 million by 2026. This represents an average growth rate of 1.3% year on year from 2020. This increase in demand is due to a 1.8% year on year rise in consumption. Germany, Spain and Romania were the top three countries in terms of vodka consumption in 2021. Bulgaria rounded out the top ten with 6.7 million liters of pure alcohol. In comparison, Slovakia led with 5.8 million liters. France, Germany and Italy were the next three countries in the ranking.
